How bad an image do you need to get called here by a regular? What the hell does he beat? I must say we have been reraising each other quite a bit.

Do you ever call this c/r here if you are him?

I'm used to having a tight image and not used to get into reraising wars vs the same ppl with mediocre hands, so help a brother out.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button ($351.50)
SB ($242.60)
BB ($898.40)
UTG ($388.40)
Hero ($394.70)
CO ($414)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, 9.
1 fold, Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, Button raises to $48, 2 folds, Hero calls $34.

Flop: ($102) 3, Q, 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $80, Hero raises to $346.7 (All-In), Button calls $223.50 (All-In).

Turn: ($752.20) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($752.20) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $752.20

Results in white below:
Hero has Js 9s (one pair, sevens).
Button has Ad4d (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Button wins $752.20.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

fold to the rr pre flop.

Don't play with people who can see your cards.

I called intenting to c/r AI, should have put this in the first post, but this guy would RR on the button with a very wide range.

Also, I would like to turn this post into a discussion rather than "I should have folded pf"...Is it profitable for him to call? How bad an image do I need to have for him to make this call? Do you guys call in his place..etc. Ty

Hmm I think your play is fine. Vs tough players like this (that you can't avoid to get at the donks) I like mixing in 4-betting a hand like this preflop with CR ai some of the time.

If he doesn't have the gutter I don't think he calls. Weird.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I am going to go out on a limb and say it was a terrible call. If he had a f/d or a pair only it would still be a lite call...

if they are calling with ace high everytime then obviously yes, but thats almost never the case. i like shoving mid pair + some bd outs against people who reraise light but dont make such thin calls

The opp's play was terrible, and since he won he probably thinks it's good so just play with him and profit.
