JL will become famous soon enough
The only history I have with villain is the first hand. I'm pretty sure it's an easy call.

(Converter is messed up, I have JJ in both hands obv.)

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$4
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $186.00
CO: $228.35
Hero: $523.70
SB: $177.70
BB: $451.10

Pre-flop: (5 players)
2 folds, Hero raises to $14, SB raises all-in $175.7, BB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 6 8 7 ($355.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $355.4)

Turn: 6 ($355.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $355.4)

River: 2 ($355.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $355.4)

Results:
Final pot: $355.4
SB shows KH KC
Button shows JC JS

Someone needs to explain to me how to play JJ in a 3bet pot vs unknowns...

Hand 1 is an easy call

Hand 2 i think is a c/p on the flop. As played you should c/r the river, because if he has a pair 99 or better he's going to bet it, and if he has nothing he's never going to call your bet but he may bluff.

im wondering the same thing. I cant see how this is an easy call vs. an unknown.

as for the second hand i think c/r the river is def. the best line here. I dont think villain is calling a >pot push.

1. Call b/c he has less than 50bb so you can't give him credit.

2. I like to 4-bet JJ oop for value vs. the usual 2/4 3-betting range. Vs. an unknown I don't hate flat-calling I guess. Like Massimo, I would c/push this flop.

hand 1 is such an ez call it's silly I have a tough time believing anyone would fold 4th nuts to an unknown for 50bb's preflop?

hand 2 is interesting.

had the 8 not paired, I'd have definitely gone for a river CR but, as played, I can see a weak villain going for "pot control" (el oh el) when the 8 paired and now making a crying call with AA-QQ since you "might be bluffing"
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Hand 2: I hate calling the flop in any other situation but this one here I think it's fine because the player doesn't seem great.
