    2) V is random unknown, so probably not too good. His flop check was insta.

Its not like I play highstakes, but... my thinking on hand one would be that you should just check behind.... I think if you get called on the river you'll be more often(i think?) losing and I don't think he would fold a jack.

Second hand I have no idea. :P

I am certainly not attempting a bluff. Why would he have a jack?

    1. I like.

    2. I'm having trouble putting him on a hand, so I also like.

    1) Yep I think you have the best hand most of the time. I probablt fold the turn though if we don't pick up a draw.

    2) I think he never has a flush so the only better hand I can give him is a bent played AQ or QQ or something. I wouldn't fold it though. Why didn't you 4bet pre?
  6. #6
In hand one, since his range probably consists almost entirely of one pair hands, and since you're only worried about A-9 suited, K-9 suited or maybe T-T (I would think he usually mucks K-9 and 3-bets T-T), it's nearly impossible for him to call with a range that is a favorite over your hand (especially if his play is reasonably self-consistent), so I think betting is good. Plus, if your opponent in this hand is a limit holdem specialist, there's a good chance that he errs on the side of paying off too much in no limit.

Hand two sucks, but I probably call as well. It's probably barely a winning play, though.

    I like one.

I think we have to fold the turn on 2.

errr.... Well I guess this is why I don't play high stakes?

in the first hand the only 2 hands which call you are T9, 98,- so i dont like it

2nd hand is good:: u prob know this but u should take a mix of 4bet call pre, raise flop, bet turn, bet/call river
I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

Were assuming opp wont make a mistake and put him on a missed draw, and call with Ace high? (65, turned fd, QT, T8 float)

1- I think its close, does he ever have 77/88 here? How bad is ur image etc.. This would be more std with A9

2- i think its fine, we cant b/f turn.. are we not 4betting AK preflop b/c its full ring or just varying ur play?
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

    1. probably has 77/88 sometimes. I think this is pretty key as well- I put him mostly on T9s/98s/A9s with some K9s/TT and some worse pairs. He could also be giving up with 56s but that's irrelevant to my value bet because I think he will c/r me close to 0% of the time in this spot.

    2. Both of these reasons plus it's suited and in position. This was 6handed at the time though. Also, a smallish OOP reraise from a random is pretty phasing to me.

    Lighting sweet moneys on fire.
    1. I think the board is too dry for this. ISF: Why would one ever want to float the donkbet with T8/QT here? Makes very little sense to me...

    2. Meh spot, but I probably wouldn't b/f here so I like the call. Villain could often have KxKs/AxKs or spew. C/c this flop with the nuts seems pretty ridic.

Would you have called if he triple barreled?

I don't really like his check on this river at all. I think you're checking through a huge part of your range that gets to this river, and he's almost always ahead.

No and I agree, except if he knows i'm going to VB thin/bluff but not call light then his check is great!
