OK Just making a new thread. Not because spenda isn't doing a good job, but because the other one is crowded and I want this to work. Nice work trying to make Stars help us spenda. So here is what we have come up with:
- We can NOT do the $.01 rebuy HU tourns on Stars.
- Which leaves us with the option of best of 3 $.01 - $.02 on Stars with 250 bb stacks and 4 people sitting out. (I recommend 250 bb stacks instead of 200 bb because the rake will end up eating some of the money on the table. Every 50 bb pot would be raked ~ 3 bbs. Y/N?)
OR
- We can do best of 3 200 bb stacks at 5 - 10 play money on Stars. This would take more effort however because they only have full ring play money tables, and would take 7 people sitting out vs 4.
So basically in order to see which we should do, we need to see who is even still interested, which option everyone prefers, and who would go through the effort to make it work. We had 32 who wanted to play and I am assuming we will lose some. PLEASE REPLY IF YOU STILL WANT TO PLAY!
Once I know for certain who would still play, I will make up a bracket (random seed). It would be nice to get a perfect 16 - 32, but if not we can just have a few random first round byes (no biggie imo, unless some people object?) I want to get this rolling THIS WEEK, so please let us know and voteeeeeee.
Once the bracket is in place and you know your opponent, contact them and find out a date/time that works best for both of you. Once you have a set time, POST IT IN THIS THREAD. This will help for getting people to sit out while you are playing. Please try to schedule a date within the week. I was thinking it would be definitely possible to finish a round per week or sooner. I really can't think of a better idea to make this work, so if anyone has a better idea let me know.
PS - $20 main tourney buyin, plus winners of the best of 3 matches will keep profits from the lol2nl matches (if we take that route and not play money). If you want in, you can ship the money to givememyleg (Ishpeming) on Stars. I will not steal your monies and have held money for other events in the past and have done many transactions for people on this site. You will not be confirmed unless you ship me the monies. I would like to have everyone confirmed by next Saturday at the LATEST.
PSS - If for whatever reason this does not work out, I will send you back your $20 entry. Don't fret, young one.
PSSS - Will most likely pay top 4. With 32 entrants, $640 prize pool, 1st $290, 2nd $160, 3rd - 4th $95. If the turnout is lower this is based off of 45% 25% 15% 15%.

I voted for $.01 - $.02 simply because I think it will be easier to get 4 people to sit out vs 7. Also the winner will receive a bit more moola.

getting that many people to sit out at tables during 2304098r523 games is going to be a pain in the ass. not worth it imo.

i dont think it'd be that hard to get 4 people per match... plus im assuming they could be scheduled around the same time to make it easier. but meh, idk, any better ideas?

we should just have FTR deathmatches where 6 ppl join an empty 6max table at X limit and play till one person has 600BB
when u lose can just click sit out and minimize table

I don't see how it's that big of a pain in the ass to get 4 people sitting out. We can just play 3 matches at once and have people playing on one table and sitting out on the other two. You guys are lame if you think this is too much effort. I'm in BTW.
