Hey all. I'm finishing 2nd and 3rd a lot lately, and I'm pretty sure my 3-way/heads up play needs help. Here is a typical heads up scenario where I crap the bed. Any comments, scathing or not, would be helpful.

This is a $22 FT SNG. Villian was loose early, but tightened up considerably by this point. I've analyzed these hands and put what I *think* I should have done in red.

Wasnt too bad.

Once the blinds are that big I wouldnt go 3xBB raises anymore. 2.5 will get the same folds, but cost you less when he comes over.

Hand 32: Just let that one go.

Hand 35: I wouldnt mind a push on this one, but I'd prefer it with an A in your hand. Heres where your lower raises help since it doesnt cost you as much.

Hand 37: I think I bet the turn on this one.

Between 38 and 39, I really dont mind not pushing or raising those. When you're shortstacked but still not desperate, I dont mind waiting for your spots. Theres an increased chance they'll come over you if you raise, or call if you push, so you can afford to wait a while for a good hand.

Hand 39, I like leading the flop, but I fold 2nd pair to the reraise. I know it feels desperate, but you're still not there yet. Fold it and pick a spot to push in the near future.
Just playing to improve.

 Haven't done this in a while, but here goes.

33: K6 is trash. he raised 3x bb pre, give him credit. fold.
Q2: Yes.
35: limp is fine. read K high, weak kicker. better K than 33, though.
36: bet flop 2x/ 2.5x bb. on resistance, fold. rep the A.
37: c-bet flop. AI.
The subsequent hands: you are not in emergency mode yet, but close.
You should push randomly, on bb or sb. Not consecutively, but randomly.
39: tuff luck. I woulda done the same.
