Post subject: Fold on the river against a suspected bluffer?

I had some reads on the villain in that he was loose preflop but seemed to me quite passive post flop. I have also seen him check-call to the river and then bet when a scare card hits such as completed flush or paired board but these hands never reached showdown so I don't know whether he had the goods in those spots.
His stats are 35/5.5/1.7. His river aggression was 3.5. These are over 90 hands.

Based on my read above, that he has bet a few river scare cards and his stats, would you call or fold this?

Gabe,
I rasied the flop because this guy was pretty damn loose but passive post flop and his 1/3 pot bet looked weak and I was hoping to take it down there.
As played would a check behind on the turn have been better instead of the bet? I am just learning about pot control and inducing bluffs so I am trying to learn good spots to attempt this and with hindsight I think this would have been a reasonable spot as after the flush completes on the turn I can't see a worse hand calling a bet on the turn. Is this thinking correct?
The only range I could put him on after the call on the flop and turn is a flush draw, which completed on the turn, or a set on the flop slowplaying. Sound about right?

I raise this flop sometimes, but mostly for balance. Just because I also raise donk bets with air, after I have raised preflop.
But yah, like you said, once it gets called I would check through this turn.

There are so many hands out there now that I think would be within his range.
Wait for another opportunity and take him in on the river.
I think he has a hand, but not the nuts and is just putting in a blocking bet.

I don't normally raise these spots but I just did not give Villain credit because he seemed so bad and I thought he would fold the flop.
I get stuck on the turn a lot as I don't want bad players drawing to better hands but I don't want to be over aggro when behind. i guess its experience that will eventually teach when to choose the right play.
FWIW I didn't call this bet as I could not see what I possibly would beat given the action. I put him on the flush or maybe a full house, either way I think the fold was a reasonable one.
Thanks for the comments. Any more comments about the hand above or the betor check turn question will be appreciated.
