Shoulda posted this in SH forum from the get go.

Villain is a b 2 b nit.

All the same. Doing this tilts me when I'm not sure I was behind. Other problem in laying down is that I am very aggressive and table is starting to notice.

Would calling the turn raise then folding to big river strength be more reasonable line here?

I think the turn fold is good. Once over half your stack is in there are you going to lay it down?

yeah that's what i was thinking. no sense in calling then calling value bet on river. prob push/fold and i didn't like the push option w a pair.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Vs a nit this is a pretty standard fold I think, check-call flop and c/r turn is always a very strong hand. Occasionally you fold the best hand, but more often you are laying down to a set.
