i wouldnt fold, if he had a set hes putting in another raise on the flop most of the time

The purpose of the semibluff is partially to disguise your draw, so that you get paid off when you hit. i.e., it's a better line than chase-chase-HUGE BET/RAISE. If successful, then he's not giving you credit for hitting that flush, and thus could be doing this with a much weaker hand than you think.

Don't play mid/low suited connectors or one-gappers if you are going to fold in fear of a higher flush when you hit. You are turning 79s into 79o.

i was more scared of the fh than the flush, if the board hadn't paired i wasn't slowing down much at all.
