When I was a limit player these kind of hands seemed to play themselves. You just bet hard and no-one ever believed you had it.
Now I find them tougher. I either win a small pot (I bet and everyone folds) or I lose a big one (someone flops a boat or has me out-kicked). Am I just playing scared? If so, where should I have put them to the test?

DISCLAIMER: I am a Limit player
Lets look at the hands that has you beat, A5/K5. However, I believe A5 would check this flop. I think I raise this river, and hope SB has an ace which would pay me off, or a fd which might have contained a 9. If villain got wayyyy lucky and had 44/99 then you say gg and move on, however, villain could have something like 65 and stack you.
I think vilain can be donking a worse 5 b/c there is a fd present and anyone holding an ace would pay him off. However, only K5 has you beat in this spot. I know I cannot help much with how much to bet or when to bet it, but I can analyze the hand and realize we are Way Ahead of villains range.
