jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
Ugh, I don't like bottom-completing straights. Slowplaying this is digging your own grave usually. I agree with the line of raising $6ish and calling a push.

LOL, I think that I might slowplay this hand about once in NEVER..... I was just wondering if anyone could realistically find a fold flopping this in a raised pot.....

No way, TT-AA/KQ/QJ/JT could play the same, as well as some other holdings. Pay off AK and feel good about it.

Push & pray. Realistically there's only one hand he would usually have that's ahead of you (I'm discounting K9), and even though there's a good likelihood he has AK, there's just as good a likelihood he has KQ, QJ, KK, QQ, JJ, or JT; even AA.

Board: Th Jh Qc
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 55.7402 % 54.64% 01.10% { 9c8c }
Hand 2: 44.2598 % 43.16% 01.10% { JJ+, AKs, KQs, QJs, JTs, AKo, KQo, QJo, JTo }

Grit your teeth and push. Get it in early and make him pay to outdraw you. You played it well IMO.

Raise more on the flop. Other than that it looks fine. No way I ever think of folding this.

Ditto, if you had 200BBs, you might have a chance to get away from a higher straight but w/ 100, you call that push.
