Tough hands, hand 1 i think i like betting the turn or river here. he can call with worse hands (2 pair) and as played you can get yourself into really ugly spots. I guess you call the river as played? Such a weird bet on the river......

Hand 2 : I think I learn towards a fold without any read at all . Maybe 70/30 fold/call. It'd be gross to see him turn over 89 of spades though. If villain is competent he should have a pretty good idea of what you have, so unless he thinks he can make you fold a flush, you're usually no good here

Hand 1: I think your behind here and I would tend to fold. I would have bet the river here I think and he would have raised with the straight and you could have got away but he would have called with a weaker hand. I don't know why but his bet on the river just looks like a "call me" bet and I find it very suspicious.

Hand 2: At first I thouhgt this was an insta call but now I am not so sure. What could he have to limp/call your raise pf? 22,JT,QJ,98,K9s, or any suited K? I can't see him limp/calling TT+ or AK. I think I would have to call this and probably pay off FH or Straight flush.

I just think a straight is gonna play this way if he is a thinking opponent or a donk! If he thinks about it he can put you on a flush draw after your check and thinks he might scare you off your hand. If he did have the FH or straight flush then surely he wouldn't push, he would maybe bet $30 or even $20 hoping for a raise from a flush.

Oh I just don't know!!!!!!!!!!

23h,43h,54h,65h,64h,75h,76h,87h,98h, 97h, K9h, K8h, AKo, K9o, 89o... need i say more? And yes, plenty of people would do this with those hands.

Hand 1: Call, you're prized in here. My default would be to block bet this river, though.

Hand 2: Looks like a boat hoping you hit either the ak-high straight or the flush. 100NL river overbet = usually something really good. I would type "QJ?" and fold.

Hand 1 : I prefer to lead the river for 30-35 and fold when he pushes for 25 more (as ridiculous as it sounds I think it's optimal) since lots of 2 pr hands will pay you off but will pretty much never bluff a river lead. I can see how this can be donkish but I hate it when villain checks behind with a QJ-type hand on river.

Hand 2 : without knowing villain's tendencies it's impossible to give advice. Vs. some villains it's an insta-call and others it's an insta-fold. It's just so read-based that there's almost no grey area once you know who you're up against.

Vs an unknown I'd either flip a coin if you're feeling nitty or call. I'm usually about 65-35 call-fold I think vs an unknown (don't know where I came up with that but it feels about right).

when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
