This is how I play it.

Flop: Smooth Call (keep him in the lead)
Turn: Smooth Call again
River: He now should have most of this chips in. If he bets put him all in, hes commited and has to call. If he checks, bet like 70% of whatever he has left.

i think you are going to take his money most of the ways you could play this. Looks like he has an over pair you may wanna raise before a scare card comes out, its not too bad of a time to slow play.

I know you weren't asking me but I think raising on the flop is a mistake. He probably won't fold a big pair but he might slow down and you don't want that. Even if you don't have any spades I still probably don't raise if you put him on a big pair. I think you should only raise if you can put him on 2 big suited cards.

If I put him on two big suited cards I want to smooth call, so that he hits one of those two big cards or bluffs away his whole stack. If he has AK of spades, well his money is going all-in no matter what happens, so I cant chase him out with a raise. If he has an overpair and I raise him he pushes. So im thinking smooth call is good no matter what.

In this situation i would call on the flop cause you have position and raise the turn when he hopefully bets again.

I call, but against a more thoughtful opponent I like a flop raise. There are way too many turn cards that don't affect or even improve your hand that would scare a good player into slowing down. Against this guy, I like one smooth call and try to get it all in on the turn. Position against a player like this, when you've flopped a monster, is the ultimate weapon.
