that flop was so likely to hit him...i just donk lead it, the way you played it...i dont mind check/calling the flop, but keep in mind there is a lot of scare cards/action killing cards for you. on the turn, theres a good chance your beat, but you cant fold for $9 youll see AJ/KJ/AK enough times for this to be +ev.

I prefer the check on the flop when I know it hit him, because it makes him think he is ahead. If I bet out he might consider that his hand could be 2nd best. I don't really think there is a good chance I'm beat on the turn. The only hand I am scared of is QQ maybe TT.

why cant he have QJ/JT? any 9/k/a kills ur action, any T/J/Q is a scare card for you - thats 19 cards. your OOP. i prefer to build the pot when your ahead

Lead this flop. The hand normally plays itself from there on

Anyways, I play this pretty differently.
Preflop I am going to reraise here then bet the flop and hopefully get it AI as soon as I can. I may lead this flop as played simply because its so likely that it hit a hand my opponent has and he will put in a raise. That turn card is shitty because he could easily have a hand like QJ or TJ, but I dont think those are the only hands we can put him on. This is where reads come in real handy, do you have any?

I'd reraise AKs preflop, i agree you should weakish lead the flop, he'll be forced to raise.

Because he had a pretty low PFR, I don't think he would have raised QJ or JT UTG.

These are things you should put in your OP. When posting hands post any reads, stats, notes, background info, anything that you think could help give us an idea of the player.
How tight was he?
