min raiser is loose-passive, SB and I are solid slags.

Ultimate Bet
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50./$1.
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $79.95
CO: $70.05
Button: $103.10
SB: $98.50
Hero: $158.55

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with 4 T
UTG calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: J 8 9 ($5, 5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, UTG calls, CO folds, Button raises to $8, SB raises to $20, Hero???

What's the best move/plan here?

I shove and get a call from BTNs 88 and the SBs AcJh. 88 spikes a boat on the turn but I do my little happy dance when the Qc comes on the river.

I pretty much never fold flopped flushes, and there are so many cards that can come on the turn to kill my hand or my action that I don't want to get fancy here.

I push. Not a lot of flushes beat you. You have a freak chance of hitting a str8 flush. And people suck. All good reasons to get it in.

well I've been in a downswing lately and thought this looked like a high variance low ev spot and timed-down/folded. I was also thinking of a recent hand I stacked a flopped Q high flush with my K high in blind vs blind. but still I have a good BR, and this is a rare opportunity.

anyway they both ended up checking down and similar to halvsame's predictions, min raiser shows Qc Tx, slag showes QTo. I turn off poker, punch something and post here...arrrrg!

that makes sense. I guess it's not bad either way but was frustrating for this hand.

Shove, you're ahead of so many stuff (straight, set, pair+fd, nfd, etc). You'll also hit your 2-outer 8.4% of the time
