1) Only 20 hands with him so far. Only thing I've really noticed is that he calls preflop with suited cards but doesn't raise a FD in a multiway pot.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP ($74.65)
Button ($40.65)
Hero ($108.90)
BB ($121.05)
UTG ($104.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, 8.
UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($4) J, 9, T (4 players)
Hero bets $3.25, BB raises to $12, UTG folds, MP folds, Hero raises to $35, BB raises to $120.05, Hero

2) He plays a lot of pots (50/20 over quite a few hands) but he's tough post flop. What are my options here?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($52.60)
Hero ($122.05)
Button ($274.40)
SB ($152.50)
BB ($91.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, J.
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, 2 folds.

Flop: ($9.50) 5, 4, 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $7, Button raises to $18, Hero calls $11.

Turn: ($45.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $30, Hero

hand 1: easiest call in the world, you have the 2nd nuts, and he probably has tons worse.

hand 2: i'm leaning towards a fold. You're not in position, so if you call and a flush card hits you have to believe he'll call a $40 bet. I don't think a push has much FE.

Pretty much what Massimo and Jager said..1. easy call. 2. Definite fold, you're not in position so it will be hard to make up the money you lose by making this turn call. He's also likely putting you at a tough decision if you hit a K or J. It would be hard to make it up even in position against a tough post flop player as you describe him. Pushing sucks.

on the 2nd one, if he can/will bluff raise the flop, and especially with an image that would cause him to (like he's done it before to you, or has seen you cbet junk a lot), I'd probably 3bet all in on the flop. I mean, you are ahead of any one pair below TT and the pot is decent enough imo.

hand 1 is an easy call. hand 2 is a fold, but i would also like a flop 3-bet if he is that aggro.

I actually like it when people tell me soemthing is too stupid to comment on.

As for your hands, I call hand 1, and I raise the flop on hand 2.

I always think that my questions are all too stupid to comment on. And then it's just confirmed when everyone says something like, "easiest call ever" or when everyone just has the same comment. It's pretty self-explanatory and easy to figure out when your question was stupid. Other times, my "stupid" questions turn out to be not as stupid as I thought. There isn't really a way to know until you post.

hand 1, I surely call but I think you are going to lose a fair amount of the time. Given that he will probably try to get in a/i with 2 pair, I think you gotta call.

hand 2... I am thinking you may not want to lead the flop against a tough player, if you are even somewhat tight. bet-3bet a/i make sense if he is raising your flop bets alot, but high variance.
