Coco bill suggested I jump str to 100nl this month, so I said I would give it a go with a 7 buy in stop loss & post my results, so far so good. Hope I can keep it up ,will post again at something like 50k to get a more realistic idea of my winrate.

Currently thinking of a new quote/signature... Some sort of prayer to the Poker gods for enlightment etc..

solid noble. keep it up. I should be back up there sometime this month.

actually, if you keep this winrate over another 10k hands, i would seriously consider taking a ~5 buyin shot at 200nl.

SAwesome! How long does it take you to log 10K hands. I thought I just saw the post from Cocco Bill the other day telling you to move up. Good luck.

BTW, are you willing to share your position stats? I am trying to tighten up my game from 24/16, but having some issues between stealing and overcalling. You can always PM me if you don't want it public, but are willing to show some people.
Thanks. I am more that willing to exchange info about PStars 100NL regs too.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Your W$WSF is pretty marginal, though its expected to be pretty low when you play that tight.

I wouldnt suggest moving further up to quickly, when i first moved up limits i had 20~BB/100 the first 10k hands and then i made a 30k hands break even streak before i won more

Yeah i wouldnt move up too soon for sure, most of the regulars feel alot better than me. I think Im just running good but a couple of buy-ins below expectation in all-ins though.
Don't want to post too many more stats cuz im playing an uber-exploitable style at the moment

Honeymoons over

Dropped 5 buy-ins so far today.

Playing like crap, when I moved up I tried to play a low variance style playing alot of my range from behind and letting over-aggressive donks/regulars spew into me.
But at some point I turned into a tight passive calling station & now I'm paying the price might move down for a bit.

As for table selection when I'm playing well - not like today - I just hit up all the tables with the highest vpips, sit for a couple of orbits & see if they're any really bad players if there's two 50+ vpip types I stay.
Or just one 60+ type & I have pos on him I'll stay to.
Then I just really try to get involved in pots with them & due all sorts of wierd sub-optimal crap limping/min raising whatever I think will get their money obv.

Tough winrate to sustain after just moving up, but don't be discouraged quite yet. Sometimes we have a bad day...Sometimes the cards don't comply...sometimes we have both

Best thing you can do is post some hands and we'll talk about them. I play all the 100NL stars ppl all the time so let me know who the opponents are ;p

You also can't just soley find these specific players you are looking for if you want to be successful long term at higher stakes. You're leaving too much $$ on the table, you can stack a lot of the "TAGfish" out there for good winrates.

The table VPIP on stars is deceptive too, its calculated over a very short period. Often you'll see a table you joined fall far to the list.

I'd focus on:
- Joining tables with mostly full to mid stacks, 30% or more VPIP is fine
- Avoiding joining tables with 2 regs or any reg to your left or even one seat gap

TILT - It sucks
Of 5 buy in downswing at 16k, 3 are definitely due to tilt, but I still brought it back yesterday only to completely tilt off nearly 10 buy ins today. So annoyed at myself.
