when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

1) Good, villain doesnt have enough money behind
2) Why no river raise when you hit the flush? I guess you could say he folds anything you beat -- but I don't think thats true.
3) It doesnt look like villain is going anywhere. I think I c/f the river..
4) I might check behind here. I dont think he calls that bet with anything you beat. Spade draw missed, straight draw missed, villain might have top pair but I dont see him calling down there..
5) Fold preflop, good fold on the turn.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.

re : 5) : folding any two getting 7-1 (esp a big card where u can hit deceiving 2 pair) is a leak imo.

1) Are you ahead enough preflop equity wise to make this call? I would agree if you had a hand like 44 or 77 but TT is supposed to be reraised no?

I don't know about #1 either...if he's passive I'd expect a smaller raise with a JJ+, but if he's the shorty camping type then it's a good fold.

#2 I'd prob min raise the river and fold to a push.

In #3 I think if you're gonna 3 barrel, the river should be all in. edit- oops just realized ur oop. when he calls the turn he seems weak so it might be good to fire again, but you don't know much about him so I dunno...I'm no 3barrel expert. gabe? bdawg?

#4 doesn't seem that bad with ur image, but a smaller (around 1/2 pot) river bet might be better.

I'm not a fan of pf in 5 either - even though pot odds are good, I think it's around neutral ev-wise because you need a lot of 2 pairs or trip 7s to be paid off to counteract stuff like this and missing completely.

Dunno I felt lost. I always reraise 10 10 preflop (almost...) but couldn't find a plan for this hand since villain had been sitting at table for a while and hadn't displayed typical short-stack ninja traits. Couldn't figure out a plan for the hand that seemed +ev so I made the weak fold.

about the 10 10 hand (hand #1) :

Calling seems spewy and not sure my equity is that great if shorty gets involved in a reraised pot for his stack. I'm prob 40% ish or below... ???

Edit : I posted this one cuz maybe this is weak as he'd be persuaded to push 77-99 sometimes... but didn't have him read as being aggro
