This guy raised every hand and would keep betting regardless of whether he hit. He usually pushed earlier in the hand so I figured he was drawing and hadn't hit anything. He also threw these bets out without a second going off the clock. Even so, is this just foolish?

I would wait for a better spot. Wait till you have top pair good kicker and then check raise him all in.

Yes that is foolish, especially prf. Why not wait to hit at least toppair and take his money there?

Mike Caro on playing against a maniac

1) Call more often
2) Raise less often
3) Seldom value bet

Not too sure about this hand though, pre-flop call out of position and then calling the flop with a gutshot & overcard?

He had A7. This was last week, but I think he was pushing any time he paired. Since he didn't push until the river, I felt I had him beat. But when I look back at this hand it just seems foolish even with the read.
