Well I thought the "calling people down with bottom pair" days were over after I moved up from 100 NL to 200 NL. Not so, however, and its been a recurring theme that no one ever believes your continuation bet.

Sorry Smackin, I was under the illusion the players were a lot more conservative than they actually are, so 200 NL will prolly be a lot like 100 NL.

***** Hand History for Game 2377596474 *****

It dawned on him only on the river, after he had put most of his money in, that his bottom pair might be beat with the ominous queen making an appeareance. Of course she was unnecessary.

You want to know something funny? I'm seeing less and less of this at the $100 level (at least on Party). Not sure why exactly. I've also adjusted my game - I'm actually making smaller continuation bets (about 1/2 pot). I don't know if that would have an effect or not, but I swear I'm getting called less.

Yeah, the 100 NL games seem to have gotten much less fishy lately.
