But since there is no where else to put it.

Villain is a fish but unknown how he really plays. This is like his 4th or 5th hand at the table I've played every one of those.

I guess I could raise the turn but I think that line looks too strong and can get more value out of his bluffs by calling and I can still value bet the river when it's checked to me.

No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (3 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($530)
Hero (Button) ($400)
SB ($530.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, 5
Hero bets $12, 1 fold, BB calls $8

Flop: ($26) 10, K, 10 (2 players)
BB bets $12, Hero calls $12

Turn: ($50) 10 (2 players)
BB bets $40, Hero calls $40

River: ($130) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $466 (All-In), Hero?

snappp fold

Well maybe not snap.. I probably tank.. and get annoyed.. and then fold.

I'd need more hands, and more reads on villain that he's crazy before I call this.

I think easy fold unless you know more about him.

Can't fish play Kx/QJ/hearts/randomness often enough like this to make it a call?

I would normally call this, but its such an overbet.

I probably call just because we deliberately checked turn to let him bluff again. The fact he made such a big bet sucks, but he can still be bluffing a lot.
Just playing to improve.

Unless we have stronger reads.. that he's an aggro monkey fish...

we're calling $335 to win $85.. best case scenario

but I'd imagine we see AA and Tx a reasonable amount too. If you had AA or Tx here... would you not overbet ship this?....

Maybe I'm influenced by the habits of a lot of my opponents. This is exactly how they try to bluff in my games. Or they turn up with all manner of small PPs/etc where I'm not actually sure if they were bluffing or not.
Just playing to improve.

Everything looks good.

Re:Fnord

I always think of every reason in the world to call an overbet this big but to be honest ive never called one overbet that was more than twice the pot where my opponent did not have the nuts.
Check out the new blog!!!

Yeah I folded decently fast but had second thoughts after I guess considering the hand that I ended up stacking him on. But anyways the bottom line is how much you have to risk to what you can win compared to how often you have to be right. Best case scenario here is chop probably which is a pretty bad reason to call I would say.
