I could be way off here, but Im going to go ahead and take a shot at this one. I probably just check behind on river here. Im just thinking all better hands shove to your bet, and all worse hands fold. So your really not gaining a lot by betting here. As played I probably look away from my computer, pray to the poker gods that villan has two pair and call.

bet the river harder to start. Pretty much any ace is going to call a decent river bet after the line you took. As played snap call his river raise. JT is a small part of his range and i think he shows up with a 2 pair hand much more here.

no.

there are tonnes of worse hands that will at least call a bet (e.g. Ax or any 2 pair)

Also usually if we are behind he wont shove.

I think I fold to the shove though. This looks like a slowplayed monster and we dont beat many monsters on this board.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

He checked the river to you after you checked behind on the turn. This isn't a straight, and it's not two pair either. This is a crazy bluff that makes no sense.

There are waaaaaaay too many hands that will call you on this river to check behind here. Especially given the line hero took, his line looks super weak. He can get called by weak aces, bare K's even.. and will prob get c/rd by a ton of two pair hands here given how weak he looks.

River is for suuure a bet and I insta call the push as well. I think A9, K9,KQ can all c/r this river given how weak you look.
