I was 4-tabling at the time, which by the way is tremendously -EV for me. I have no idea how people 8 table 6max with any success at all. Anyways I was in a pretty big pot at another table so not really paying attention and when it got down to 2 seconds left I thought oh shit I gotta bet and then as I'm betting it timed out and folded. WTF is wrong with PP software why doesn't it check this? This and their backwards blinds HU really need to get fixed IMO.

Ya I would usually value bet the river. I like the flop check.
The time out instafold pisses me off too.

I just got a new party account and I've been 12-tabling the microstakes games (to get used to the software). I time out all over the place, but I'm definately getting better, and I'm running at about 20ptbb/100 over 2000 or so hands. Maybe I'll move up to NL50 tonight.

Iwould reccoment that beginners play at lease 15,000 hands before moving up. You could just be running good.

Flop check is fine, I do it with a hand like that sometimes to induce a bluff / control pot size. River fold is standard. Nld.

andr3w321, the hand looks ok. I'd be looking to get some value in on the river. Also, it's kind of time that if you time out you fold there. It should be a check in that situation where you aren't facing a bet. That is how it is done on pokerstars. But that is -EV for party, hence the fold to speed the game along (since the same thing is done on all streets).

It's just something you get used to (multitabling). If you really want to be a successful online player, multitabling is basically a requirement IMO. I've been 8-tabling 6max on stars, which probably equates to roughly 6 tables of 6max on party, since the games move quicker on PP.
And the backwards blinds are the same as they are on stars. Why those aren't fixed is beyond me, but it probably has something to do with keeping the game in order when the 3rd player sits in. If I were to play someone in a heads up cash game, I'd be comfortable playing with backwards blinds, but not with normal blinds. Yeah.

It probably might as well be. Glad to see you actually decided to add some content to this thread too.
