I've been playing nitty as hell over the last 10k hands -
14/11/3.7 for you PT people [is 3.7 postflop AF aggressive?], and it's been absolutely awesome..
Low variance, more fun, the regs try to float a lot less and when they do a 2nd barrel gets rid of them, the fish still pay you regardless, and the most awesome thing is MUCH LESS STUPID SPOTS..
and btw I don't get bored doing it cause I play as many tables as I physically can.
It feels nice, not cbetting into a semi-unknown with 56s just cause it felt like an apt thing to do.
It feels nice, not ending up making dark tunnel bluffs.
It feels nice, not having to adjust to every single fucker's perception of you because you raise a lot.
So..
What sucks about not playing many hands pre?

how is playing nitty more fun?
what sucks is youre passing on value and your image sucks.

ash- yea thats prob the quickest way to build a roll.
at the same time eventually u will have to learn+play more hands to maintain a positive winrate at higher stakes.
also keep in mind being a marginal winner (which this style will be a lot of the time, specially without game selection) will mean suuuuper var as u move up and ur winrate gets smaller. for instance, as a 1 bb/winner playing so many tables u can expect to take a 100 BI swing at some point. It will suck.
though i think ur playing optimally to make most $$$/hr at lower stakes

The problem is eventually people aren't going to give you any action, but for now play as nitty as you can while people still don't realize how tight 16/14 is.

Is 19/15 really nitty? lol.. I play 20/16 and I don't feel like a nit at all. I feel like I'm almost raising on so many tables at once that its all I could handle (I only 6-table)...
hmm... 14/11 is super nit

in the euro games, a real nit is 15% vpip, 20 is what good TAGG's play and they seem to destroy the game up to 600nl where they all meet up etc and infest all games.
Its very rare to see anything really LAGGRO like 30/20 etc or even 25/20 because anyone playing in euro games witha 30% vpip is a 30/5 or 30/10 and these are guys who play soooo badly postflop and 20/15's chief donators. They've just probably won a donkament or run good long enought to get to 1/2 2/4

I play like 18/14 and I don't feel like a nit at all. I don't even see how I can raise that unless I start playing trash from UTG & MP because I already raise 32s+, 42s+, 52s+, 62s+, 65o+, etc. from the CO & BTN most of the time.

I used to play a 18/14 game up and incl $100nl. When I first moved up to $200nl I noticed that I didn't get paid off a lot anymore. I run at 21/16 now and I have increased my winrate going with it. At the moment I couldn't see myself playing any looser than that.
