kizza is a good 24/21/2.5 TAgg over 175 hands
1iONU is completely unknown
im running 26/23/4 over 50 hands at this table, kizza probly has me closer to 22/17ish

kizza 3-bets fairly light inposition, so he is definitly 3-betting AK here, and probably 99.
I felt fairly confident firing a second barrell vs kizza because he floats alot, but again i dont have a clue about 1iONU.

hows my line?

Poker Stars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

1iONU ($50)
Kizza_om ($113.60)

1 fold, Hero raises to $2.5, 1iONU (poster) calls $2, Kizza_om calls $2.50, 2 folds.

Flop: ($8.25) K, 5, 9 (3 players)
Hero bets $5.5, 1iONU calls $5.50, Kizza_om calls $5.50.

Turn: ($24.75) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $15.5, 1iONU calls $15.50, Kizza_om calls $15.50.

River: ($71.25) 7 (3 players)
Hero checks, 1iONU bets $26.5 (All-In), Kizza_om folds, Hero calls $26.50.

Final Pot: $124.25

I'm a nit and I don't like betting TPgK into 2 opponents so I would have checked the turn not to build a pot with a vulnerable hand out of position. So I guess CO is the competent player? I guess he had something like JdTd. But given that I would have played AK the same way makes me think that your line is OK.

Betting turn is not a good play since villain's shoving range is probably (K-9, Jd-10d, 5-5, 9-9).

I feel that you get the most value out of K-J/K-10/A-9 and lose the least to better hands by checking the turn and value betting a safe river.

I guess i would check the turn and interpret any bet as most likely one from a better hand and fold.

Facing a river shove i would definitely fold, especially since CO is decent. Surely he isn't shoving a missed draw here when he would be offering 4:1 pot odds?

besides checking the turn this is the only way to play it. But the river may be a fold, opp would have to be turning a missed draw into a bluff but he does this so little of the time.
Check out the new blog!!!

really? I see this quite a bit from people that dont know how/when to give up. I'll check maybe 1/3 of rivers OOP when i know opp. was chasing the flush and i get worse hands (usually atleast FD w/ some pair) to bet a good frequency.

iowa is playing higher stakes prolly so this he may not see this much, yes at nl50 i saw it many times that ppl shove the river when check to with missed draws... but its mostly shorties doing it or very big pot...

i guess i put 1iONU on a FD/KQ/KJ enough of the time that i though b/f the turn was the right play. kizza could be on FD also or floating the flop w/ good odds also.
