The villian for both these hands is a 400NL regular. We have an interesting preflop relationship in that we are continuously raising, reraising and even 3betting each other with less then premiums. At least I presume he does it with less because he does it so often. We are both aggressive players post flop.

These hands happened about 5 hands apart. The QQ one first. My question is, is the action in the first hand a reason to call or to fold in the second hand?

Also sorry but the hand converter is messing this up.

I think I four-bet him preflop here since AK is the best hand like 98% of the time against somebody like him. As played, I'm folding to the c/r ai here. He is really showing huge strength. If the board was K72 I'd instacall, but this board is pretty scary for TPTK.

I'd call this pretty quickly. I'm assuming you have been 3-betting him light pf, right? Or at least he thinks that?

Fold. He expects you to have hit this flop and the first hand makes it very likely for him to fastplay QQ/KK/KQ/AA.

How are you gonna do that when he calls?

Ya, he would think think that I am more aggro pf then my cards should allow.

Also keep in mind that he wasn't tilted by the first hand. He reloaded straight away and we had a little chat about the hand.

Fold, his range is probably a mixture of AK, pair+draw and sets to which you are behind.

well he obviously knows you are capable of calling w/ an overpair or tp based on the first hand...and if he is not on tilt i think you are losing here more often than not.
