OMG WTFZ. I dont seem to be able to win at pp. here are a couple of trouble hands where I have screwed up a bit/a lot? My stats are about 25/15, opponents are almost always 35/10 semi weak-tight passive party fish.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($460)
BB ($582.38)
UTG ($37.40)
MP ($489.87)
Button ($435.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, K. Hero posts a blind of $2.
3 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $12, BB calls $10.

Flop: ($28) 5, Q, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $13, BB raises to $31, Hero calls $18.

Turn: ($90) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $55, Hero raises to $145, BB calls $90.

River: ($380) 5 (2 players)
Hero calls $270 (All-In).

Final Pot: $650

I was a bit puzzled on his play. Trips dont raise that big that often but on the other hand, why is he still betting the river this big? He must know I have AK/AQ or something, value bet or bluff?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

CO ($580.67)
Button ($501.60)
Hero ($527.30)
BB ($160.26)
UTG ($937.08)
MP ($415.26)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, A. Hero posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls $4, 1 fold, CO calls $4, 1 fold, Hero (poster) raises to $19, 1 fold, UTG calls $17, CO calls $17.

Flop: ($67) T, A, T (3 players)
Hero bets $45, UTG folds, CO raises to $110, Hero calls $65.

Turn: ($287) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

River: ($287) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $230, Hero calls $230.

Final Pot: $747

Hand 1 is standard, I don't think he has a boat and the runner runner flush is nothing to be worried about.

Hand 2 I think is hard because he checks the turn, because of that I think I pay him off on the river. If he has a ten his turn check is brilliant, but he easily could have AJ-AK and be betting for value on the river. You will see those hands often enough to make this a good call.

Hand 1, I can't see you being behind here.

Hand 2 is tough. I think I muck on the river for $230. Good call though. You're not fucking around.
fal04: there's not too many hands i won't play for a quarter if i'm feeling it
fal04: i'll play 7-2 off if i feel it
