At the time of play, I felt like I owned this guy, but nowI am wondering if I just colddecked him.

Also, I could not find a FTP converter, sorry. Lil' hep?

Vilian has been here for < 10 hands, played his blinds (lost small pots w/o showdown

I think this is just tilty spew, but villian seem FOS to me, but I had been pushed around plenty on this table, and I figured I may as well make a stand when I only stand to lose 40% of a buyin. I am strongly influenced by 1st hand, but I am not sure if it's a good way.

6 hands later... Pretty lame call in the BB... I am relying on my "superior post flop skillz".

tonyo66 tanks....

I check turn even though the pot is not yet big enough - I was pretty sure he would bet - and I could raise or call depending on how much he leaves behind

I really put him on a Q here when he checks the turn behind. Given our last interaction, I thought he would call BS on me...

1: c/c or c/f flop.
2: fold preflop, postflop very meh. gamb00l with shorties is good I guess.
3: fold preflop, lead turn, value bet river. You're losing value vs. J9/88/etc.

my iniital impulse was c/c to catch a bluff... but then I realized I he would be all in on the turn given his stack size, and I don't think a ss unknown ss bluffs on an a-high flop.

I guess check/fold is consistant since I have already decided he's not bluffing... Is betting ever good (when he will call with a medium pair, but not bet it)? Also, I think with 2 hearts on the board I was either loath to give him a free card and didn't want to call down a semi-bluff.

I agree those would be standard.

1) Just fold PF, or at least reraise. Calling only "makes sense" if you are doing it as a complete bluff and are planning to push him off the hand but as played you seemed to have called for value.

Against some players this may be semi-ok, but you need a lot more than a dozen hands on them. Also, how does the first hand really change this one? Regardless of the results I dont like this at all because you dont seem to have a read that would make this ok.

2) Ditch this in the BB, as played bet the flop harder. Bet the turn and hope to get it AI, otherwise just push the river if he calls. If you really put him on a Q, then I dont think this is horrible as he probably calls, but I just dont like how the hand played out to get there.
