I have been doing very well at this table in the few orbits i have been sitting down. He has been very quiet at this table since i sat down. I don't think we've ever played a crazy hand with each other before.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
CO ($314.05)
Button ($200)
SB ($215.20)
Hero ($374.80)
UTG ($179.20)
MP ($388.90)
Preflop: Hero is BB with A , A .
2 folds, CO raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero raises to $30, CO calls $22.
Flop: ($61) 9 , 4 , J (2 players)
Hero bets $38, CO raises to $94, Hero calls $56.
Turn: ($249) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.
River: ($249) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks,
GrinderX said, "hmMMMMMMMMMMMmmm"
GrinderX said, "value or not"
GrinderX said, "qq?"
CO checks.
Final Pot: $249
Results in white below:
Hero has Ac As (full house, nines full of aces).
CO has Kd Ks (full house, nines full of kings).
Outcome: Hero wins $249.
If he knew i were capable of slowplaying on the river, would his line be good? I was impressed at first but it seems pretty nitty.

if anything, he has to fold all worse hands except maybe KK to your flop shove and there aren t lots of draws in his range of preflop calling hands
so I like your line but I only like his line if he knows you re thinking this deep

since you made your c-bet on the small side and got him to do what you presumably wanted, just shove over right there. If you whiffed your turn c/r then you need to fire the river as played.

You should have said in the chat "I CALL I CALL JUST BET I CALL BIND ME"
I think I would just push turn or river in this hand btw.

lol, at least u didnt check the AA behind.
seriously though he shouldve bet something on the river. but if that's ur read, that he's a nit, u could just lead the turn and river.

It is an interesting hand, so i thought about it more...
Because the majority of both of our ranges by the river are pretty much J-J/K-K+, i think his check behind on the river is actually really good... i know i would have bet in his position in the actual hand for sure. The most likely way i am going to get him to potentially make a mistake here is by betting the river - even if he is folding to a river bet 80% of the time it's probably better to just put him all in.
So i guess my best line to just shove on the flop? At least then there's a greater chance i am bluffing or pushing a draw?
