Is this how everyone plays quads on bad beat tables!?

Just to let someone catch up and beat them? what is the bad beat prize?

I get his flop and turn check if thats the case, but no river bet?? lol

lol, I put a hefty bad beat on someone in my home game. He's a reg in our game and really straightforward and unimagitive. He stays away from me without the nuts. He bumps it up pf from UTG and I call from the button with 4d5d. HU flop comes 7d7x8d he check/calls with 88 for the boat. I turn gin with the 6d and he leads. I smooth call and jam over his river lead. Ship it!
