Villain is a fish playing 48/8/2 after 64 hands. No real reads except that he limp calls and cold calls a lot of raises preflop.

Should i be calling this bet after checking back the turn? With no real reads i dont know whether he will try to bluff in this spot, or bet a two pair hand for value.

Villain is a decent player. 30/21/1.8. 3 bet is 10%. showdown stats are 19/60 after 206 hands.

Is the turn check ok? I dont really want to get raised of my hand and the turn did coordinate well with his flop calling range. My plan was to c/c turn and c/c a lot of good rivers. The river is was a pretty easy fold.

 1. Bet the turn. There plenty of 2 pair hands, pairs, worse sets he can call with. We don't want the board getting any scarier before we extract the maximum from these hands. His range is wide enough that not all that much of it will be 7s. Meh this is such a fish value bet sizing, as played I'd probably call because he can be value betting worse and our hand is underrepped, plus fish do wierd ass stuff. Not thrilled though.

2. Always bet this turn. I think you're fearing monsters under the bed a bit here. It isn't too too bad a card. What it does do is put more draws in his range so betting becomes even more necessary, plus theres plenty plenty value here from worse overpairs, likely still 3 streets vs most TAGs. These turn checks have put you in awkward -EV spots where the money is going in on an inferior street from where it should be. His turn and river sizing really doesn't say set to me here. Again we're underepped so we must call the turn after checking, I'm okay with folding this river sicne he just isn't value betting worse now and to be honest doesn't have a lot of air in his range by now.

Ramp up your turn aggression in these spots imo.

 bet the turn in both dude not that close
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Solid advice guys. I knew something felt wrong. Just moved up to 100nl today so was a bit gun shy.

In both these spots, is the plan to b/f turn? What sort of sizing are we looking at?

I agree that you have to bet both spots on the turn, but as to how much I have the following thought. If you bet weak, like 1/2 the pot, you are setting yourself up for a raise bluff because it looks like you are nervous about your bet. Can you call that raise if it is sizable (pot committing)? A normal bet of 2/3 t o3/4 pot sounds about right for both plays to me.
