hand 1: call...

hand 2: at 10NL being raised on the flop is insta-muck for any overpair, no questions asked. Were this 20NL, u'd have to take the maniac-read in consideration to maybe call.

1- depends on reads, without them I fold it
2- I like how you played, but might call the turn and fold to a substantial river bet.

if im calling the turn bet im comitted. ill have $10-$11 left in a $17-$18 pot. Villain in hand 2 is one of the better players at $10nl on AP, so i respect his bets/raises a bit more than most villains.

Hand 1 I usually fold just to stay out of trouble.

Hand 2 if you're gonna fold to a blank turn, you may as well fold to his flop raise and save the 1/4 buyin.

oops. I saw you had 200bb but didnt do the math, thanks for pointing it out. does the converter work for this?

I dunno about the flop because some (bad) players overplay top pair this way but then get scared and bet small on the turn, but it sounds like vs this one you could fold the flop.

On the second hand, I agree you can fold the flop against this player. At AP, there's the fish pool and then a few good regulars. Same at NL50. There are a few nit regulars I just don't play big pots with, without a really big hand, and life is good.
