This is being typed from my iPhone so sorry if the wording isn't good, I'm not really proof reading it.

From watching ISFs HU match and 6 max video one thing that really jumped out at me was the sizing of his cbets. He seemed to be routinely cbetting over 3/4 pot. I was wondering what are the asvantages to betting so big compared to the "standard" i have heard of 2/3.

- consistency with the rest of your betting.
- getting to felts more often and sooner.
- making it a little less profitable for the 2nd caller, if you are doing this 3way.

those are off the top.

but, for me and my stakes, i HAVE to bet bigger on flop/turn. i play a ton of passives/floaters that like to call one street, maybe two. they call just as many psb's as 2/3's, so why not charge more when ahead? but, against these guys, i cbet less often anyway so i am more inclined to be believed.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

1. Bigger cbets build a pot
2. Bigger cbets encourage our opponent to play passive
3. Helps turn peoples hands face up

Which probably seems to be the case at 50NL where I am stuck for what seems like an enternity. I have recently been experimenting with betting bigger on the flop, and it just seems that my risk/reward factor isn't as good as it used to be. I think in general villains at this level aren't too smart and don't pay attention to bet sizing or anything like that. Also the time I get raised on the flop as a bluff is extremely rare.
