Think about what his hourly is for his 10k buy-in games. Then figure out how much of a payment on an hour of his coaching would be worth his while. That will be your number.

If your smart you will record but do the commentary later and just take some notes while playing. It is far easier to do the commentary after.

Good point, thanks. I'm not sure how to add the audio in later though, I just downloaded a free open-source screen and mic recording program called CamStudio.

audacity for audio recording.
put it together with virtualdub.
install a codec package first, like cccp or ffdshow-tryouts

Or what if I just don't record sound, then play it back full screen and record the recording with commentary? That way I can pause, rewind, pull up pstove, etc.

I think that's a cool idea. I would do the same but my camtasia trial has expired.
My goal is going to be for your commentary to have a lot of what the fuck do I do here in it.
