Villain is super weak obviously. His stats are 36/6/2.
I usually raise flop here, but I dont have much FE against this guy.
So many players on the Ongame network throw out these weak ass river bets. Sometimes it's nothing but A-high.
Thoughts on my line?
Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$4
5 players
Converter
Stack sizes:
UTG: $418.70
CO: $451.60
Button: $304.05
SB: $443.20
Hero: $558.00
Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with A J
UTG folds, CO calls, Button raises to $10, SB folds, Hero calls, CO calls.
Flop: 4 4 Q ($32, 3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets $30, Hero calls, CO folds.
Turn: 8 ($92, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $20, Hero calls.
River: J ($132, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $40, Hero calls.
Against this guy, river is probably a fold...right?

also, I think flop raise is better, but it is kind of a tricky spot against someone with a tight range.

Anyone prefer raise/fold preflop? If not, what about AJos or AQs?

before thinking about a 3bet with AJ, we need to know if button respects position and opens wider accordingly. if so, yeah, take a shot once in awhile. but if not, 6% isnt wide enough for me to 3bet oop with AJs...or AQs for that matter. "villain is 36/6/2" doesnt even begin to count as a read when asking to 3bet, imo.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

You're right.
I always look at att. to steal blinds. His was around 6 as well, so Im guessing he has no sense of position. Therefore, there is no chance I am 3betting AJs here.

you can also open HIS position stats. and get a much better idea, imo, than att. to steal.
