What do you think of the turn check? I figure classic WA/WB situation.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

saw flop|saw showdown

MP ($9.75)
CO ($6.75)
Button ($24.80)
SB ($9)
BB ($33.30)
Hero ($27.55)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, J.
Hero raises to $1, 4 folds, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($2.10) 5, 9, J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB calls $2.

Turn: ($6.10) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($6.10) A (2 players)
BB bets $6.1, Hero calls $6.10.

Final Pot: $18.30

Hmmm.

I think a river minraise gets called by a lot of hands that you beat. It'll be tough if villain pushes, but I think min-raising could be sexy if you think a push by him means you are dead.

I may be overthinking, but I see this flop line from whiffed AK all the time... I'm not really sure what I'm saying.

So to get back to my original train of thought : hmmm.

All-in unless you have to reason to believe he's not retarded.

It's good for table image if you don't see a showdown here anyway.

This line seems very weak to me. I think you're behind so infrequently here that if you do bet the turn and get raised you can *consider* folding, but really, you want to be getting more cash in the pot.

What can villain call a good sized bet with that I beat? Is inducing a river bluff (or a bet that he thinks is a valuebet) worth more?

What hand calls an AI that I beat? QJ, TJ are the only ones I can think of.

It's 25nl for christ sakes, it's not like you have the 2p2 MSNL forum at your table. Worse J's will call (or raise), various straight draws (QT and 78 are open ended) will call, hands like A9, TT, 88, 77 who think you're full of shit. Not betting this turn at 25nl is criminal.
