Hand 1: I don't know that you can really play small pot poker against short stacks...well, you can, but I don't think that it helps you because in my mind one of the advantages of small pot poker can be risking less to win and getting away more cheaply. You're not risking less or getting away more cheaply when you end up having to call anyway.

In the hand, I bet more on just about every street and call the shove.

Hand 2: Wouldn't small pot poker have you betting 3 or 4 instead of 6? Making the pot on the turn 12, so you can bet 8. You're likely faced with the same decision, but if you fold, you lose less. Alternatively, you could check the turn to snap off a bluff if villain is aggro like that.

Hand 3: I think you either have to fold the turn or get more money in on the flop. If we give your overs half credit as outs (reasonable, I think), then you have 12 outs on the flop == 48%. Pot equity makes it mathematically better to get as much in here as possible. On the turn that's down to 24%, making your odds much more questionable unless you're positive that you're taking his stack anyway.

Hand 1: Call you'll see xcxc, T90, QTo enough here to be profitable.

Hand 2:Need more reads here, but I tend to raise here. You either take it down there or on the A high flop. I can't stand letting button limpers see cheap flops. This has always worked for me.

Hand 3: Don't get past the flop without a plan. Either go to war or fold, I think anything else is spew.

1- played goot, snap call on the flop
2- jeffreyGB - good point on bet sizes...also i'd fold the turn oop, no read suggesting not to.
3- looks good. id rather just fold on the turn but thats me.

hand 1- insta call (if u have been folding anything remotely similar to mid pair in this spot its a leak
hand 2- fold turn
hand 3- 3betting flop is fine but not probably best
as played C/F turn seems like ur best option

I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

if we are giving our overs credit as outs then shouldnt we bluff the ace?
i dont think we can count them as outs and agree you have to fold the turn, but if you think your overs are good against this villain then raise turn

I'm not counting our overs as full outs. I'm saying that half the time when we hit them from the flop we improve to be ahead. This is true when he has Ax or a pocket pair. You're right that on the turn it's much less likely that our overs are good outs. We can probably only count them for a collective 1 out, making the turn call even more questionable...

i would shove the turn if he checked or a weak bet. But his bet makes it pretty clear he has trips or a bluff (i dont think that's likely from thsi guy).
