a better question is what are you trying to fold out of his range? hes not folding JJ. KK or AA would of 3bet, QQ would call, TT-22 would check river with overcard on flop. I mean your raising to fold out his busted flushes?

What's your history with this Villain?

    How many people are playing?

What is your and Villain's position?

Why did you overbet a paired board OTF?

Why did you turn C-bet so small?

    On the face of it:

It looks like you raised from EP. Which should mean that you have a tight range. Villain called you from .... ? Suggesting he has a more wide range than you. You are OOP to Villain.

The board ran out all small cards, which hits his range more than it hits yours.

seconds my question of what hands do you expect him to fold from his range?

First of all, opening to 5bb its a bit too much, open to 3bb standard. Then, I agree with the rest that you overbetted the flop. Betting something like 60% of the pot in the flop is ok since there's a flush draw. Your turn bet is very small, and then you check the river, so it is possible that the villian saw you had nothing and bluffed the river?. He might have AJ, KJ, some pockets, JJ, QQ, or any suited hand from ATs+, KTs+. So in his range there could be some bluffs, but since you have nothing I think your check raise was incorrect, because if he calls you loose your chips.

What I would have done is make a bigger bet on the turn, and if he calls I would have given the hand as lost.
