This is actually a 9 person table, but at the time there were only 5 people. Didn't have any good reads. What is your play on the flop? Keep in mind that xin1575 had about $36 left after the preflop betting.

Usually, if the guy has AA he's pushing preflop after you give him that much action. The only reasonable things he could have that's beating you is either a retardedly played AK or a slowplayed AA.

If he has KK or below, then the pot is yours right now with a single bet. Instead of check/folding could try and bet about half the pot. If he doesn't insta-fold you're done with the hand - even if it is just 20 more to call a push. Just remember that since you're usually playing against stupid opponents, a lone ace is very possible here.

A read sure wouldn't hurt anything here. Without out, I am leaning towards a half pot bet, but this really depends on your opponent.

Greedo017 is on a distinguished road
just bet something, even 10 bucks, he's not calling without the ace.

Well here's the rest of the hand. At least my line of thought was right on with the rest of you, just bad timing that he actually had the ace.

*** FLOP *** [Ac 6s 7h]
bdawg56kg: bets $13
xin1575: raises $23.55 to $36.55 and is all-in
bdawg56kg: folds
bdawg56kg said, "nh"
bdawg56kg said, "kk"
xin1575 collected $54 from pot
xin1575: shows [Jh As] (a pair of Aces)

Although it is frustrating, I can live with this because most times I will take this pot down. However, what I'm interested in is if villian had say $10 left and I was first to act on the flop. What about $20? It's tricky because any continuation bet will commit me to the pot, whereas in this case, I could still get away from the hand after a 1/2 pot continuation bet. Thoughts?

What a knob calling such a big pf raise with AJ.... Hope you made it back on later hands. Also, regarding announcing you're folding KK, I don't think it's a good idea. Some might view this as a license to bluff you -- a dangerous proposition. You made a nice read and played it perfect. No need to advertise it, however.
