only had 16 hands on Button so 44/16/1 stat probably nothing to go by... UTG was quite loose and was opening hands like JQ, JT UTG so that is the reason for the initial pre flop raise.
Pre flop i put villain on 88+ or AK.. after the flop i take AK out of range.
What is the best way to get paid off on this river? will i fold out hands like 88 99? does it even matter?

You have about 50% of the right information to 3 bet preflop however just because he's opening those hands utg doesn't mean he's calling 3 bets with them. Even if he is you still have a marginal hand and you're oop so I'd rather fold preflop.
Lucky for you you flopped the nuts (obviously planned to perfection) I think the flop sizing is fine however not betting the turn is atrocious and offensive. You don't have any reason to expect him to bet the turn with a wide range which would be the only reason to c/shove. I would bet like half pot on the turn and shove every river. I'm not even going to give advice as played cause I"m just so deeply offended by your decision not to bet the turn.

I think you have to bet the river here. He is going to call your flop bet with all the pairs in his range, and will have a tough time folding that river with said pairs. Also if he happened to float you with a non-pair hand and then checked the turn it is highly unlikely he will bet that river. If he has a pair and you check the river he might value bet it, but he might not, so why give him the option of checking behind when he will be hard pressed to fold a pair? Go ahead and bet ~$40 he will call way more than he bets if you check it to him. Hell, he might even raise if he has JJ.

lol and fair enough too probably..
reasoning: fairly dry board given my perceived range for villain, felt like double barelling would fold out a lot of his hands, from which i may be able to squeeze value from on river... is this no good?
are we barrelling turn with the hope of getting raised with 88+?

This is the perfect turn card for you to keep barelling your trips here. The J puts JTx on board, and villain can/will probably convince yourself you'r barelling with KQ/AQ/AK and any other type of straight draw on this card now.

Probably one of the best peices of advice I've ever received that has helped my game drastically, was to bet going into the turn and the river after landing a monster hand on the flop. This not only helps to increase the value of the pot, but it also helps your table appearance, especially if your opponent folds in this scenairo.

Theres not enough left in stacks for you to be able to make little tricky moves. Shame too because deception is the most important aspect of poker.
