not much of a read on villain, he was insta-raising almost every flop and stealing alot of pots with over the top bets. i realise now after reading through it i should have been re-raising him instead of calling, any other advice? good or bad play?

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
I think the play is pre flop.
If you know hes trying to be super aggro/maniac then go right over the top. If he hasnt got something the message is clear that you arent afraid of a bit of gambOOl with him.
I think if i know hes trying it on id just push at any given point here postflop and make him do the nasty calling. The message will be clear.
He looks very fishy and maniac to me with little understanding of position. With your read im calling all the way down here.

Looks good. His bet screams missed draw.

Does anyone who hits the full house play it like he did? I almost imagine anyone with a boat value bets

-EV. Fold flop or reraise big and take control of the hand preflop with your read. What happens when he shows down 22?
