This guy was so annoying. Would only bet his good hands. Seems really easy to exploit, but the fact is you never win any money with your good hands, so frankly by this point in the game we're both losing to rake. Now like I say he normally only bets with the goods, but he has called flop or turn with 2nd pair a few times. Never seen him call flop & turn yet (130 hands played) and he's c/r'd my c-bets a couple of times with what I assume are big hands.

So I'm confused. If he flopped a big hand I'd expect him to raise me somewhere. If he just had a Q I expect him to fold turn. Maybe he has like a pair + draw, or a monster draw. Or maybe he changed his plan after I folded to his c/r's and is trying a new approach with a big hand?

$0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
2 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
BTN Hero ($59.75)
BB grieps ($42.18)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 2 players) Hero is BTN
Hero raises to $1.50, grieps calls $1

Flop: ($3, 2 players)
grieps checks, Hero bets $2.20, grieps calls $2.20

Turn: ($7.40, 2 players)
grieps checks, Hero bets $5, grieps calls $5

River: ($17.40, 2 players)
grieps bets $33.48, Hero ???
Just playing to improve.

This seems to me like it is something like Qd6d, I really don't think a player who is generally very tight is doing this without a hand better than a pair.. I fold here.

This was my thoughts exactly, some opponents have many missed draws in their ranges here, especially combo draws OOP, and the only way to win this pot now is to donk bet, but since you stated how tight he was I have to give him credit for a two pair or something here.
