This hand is entirely from memory as I do not have my PT database here with me. Villain is something like 54/7/0.9. Effective stacks 100bbs 50NLHE.

Villain limps UTG
Hero raises to $3 with QQ
Villain calls.
SB calls.

Flop is 245 rainbow. (9.50)
Villain bets 0.50
Hero raises to 7 dollars
SB folds
Villain calls 6.50

Turn is another 2 (23.50)
Villain checks
Hero checks

River is a J
Villain bets 21
Hero...........

This board sucks, this flop sucks for queens. Even though villain is a donk I don't think he can make this type of river bet after calling a big raise by me. I see him easily showing up with a set, straight or trips here. Is this a good laydown or do you guys call? His range is huge for limp calling, I can see him doing that with a lot here. Calling my pf raise narrows it down to at least a pair, draw but at least some sort of hand. My question is do you call a pot sized bet here?

Easy call. You beat all 2 pair hands, and you showed major weakness when checking the turn. The only hands to be worried about are 44, 55 or A2. I wouldn't be surprised to see villain on a total bluff here, thinking you have missed overcards or a weak overpair and won't be able to call.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Why are you checking the turn here? (Except for to induce a river bluff) The two is a pretty decent card for you, It's fairly obvious you have overs and would call a turn bet if Villain bet - maybe he was hoping for a c/r....

I think the best line is b/f the turn though as he's not very aggressive and probably would just flat call all over pairs and rase the trips/boat. You can discount AA/KK, so you're ahead a lot here, just A2 44 and 55 that have got you. I think they mainly bet this turn though esp 44 and 55.

As played you have to call the river, nh
