MP ($314.80)
CO ($609.90)
Hero (Button) ($437.60)
SB ($485.10)
BB ($545.80)
UTG ($400.00)

Preflop: Hero is Button with x, x
2 folds, Hero raises to $8.00, SB calls $6.00, 1 fold

Flop: ($18.00) K, 2, 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $16.00, SB calls $16.00

Turn: ($50.00) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($50.00) A (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $38.00, SB raises to $110.00, Hero's remaining stack is $413.16.

Villain runs 27/20, pretty passive but with a river c/r % of 10 over 870 hands (so c/r by streets stats have def not converged but we might let it influence our play a tiny bit). We haven't tangled today and there's no history that I can remember. I've been playing a ton of hands ip but haven't played any big pots at all.

1. is this a spot to consider a bluff shove?
2. what is the worst hand to call with?

I don't see how he has a flush here beside 6h5h so I think it's a decent board to bluff shove. I don't know wtf he has, maybe A2/A6/As4s going for thin value? I'd look him up with aces if I were you b/c it wouldn't be my money and I want to know what he has :P

His line is almost never a bruff in the PS200 game.

If the river was the 8 I'd be insta-calling 99. As played I think he has better than a decent Ax. Heineken induced post fwiw.

The title assumes we should be focusing on the backdoor flush lol!!!! I guess, but it would only be usefull if we try to bluff him off a set, but that never works out so you shouldn't.

I call AK+.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

This is the FTP400 game, but there isn't that much river c/r bluffing going on there either.

I thought the change in board texture makes me bet more hands on the river (the A seems just as important as the frush) thus he can c/r bluff more?

I don't follow. We can rep a flush but not a set, so it's useful for bluffing him off two pair?

Btw I think it's hard for villain to have a set (most people c/r that on the flop especially since SPR is huge here and they have to build a pot) but even if he does it's not a super easy river call. Hell, even a baby flush seems like a bluff catcher in his shoes. Which brings another question, do we shove any flush for value?

I think the strongest non-flush hand I can have on the river is like A4 or A6 (A6 is pretty much the same as AK though, right?)

Ax wouldn't ever jam on this river I don't think. No worse hands are ever calling.
