SB raises a ton from the SB. He is running 27/22.
He probably views me as an ABC Tagg running at 22/18ish.
We dont have a lot of history. However, I just 3bet/folded to his 4bet on the last orbit in the same situation.
He snap called preflop, the flop and the turn.
Thoughts on bet sizing and my line please.
Also, if this is okay, would it still be okay if he didn't call so quickly on every street?

The fact that this is bvb, nobody folds top pair and all the draws missed makes me not like it. Your repping such a narrow range and I'm sure he knows this.

I don't expect him to fold TP.
All the draws missed = good time to bluff, no?
When he called all my bets so quickly, I put him on a draw, a pocket pair(77-QQ), any nine, and maybe a complete float with like a GS turned midpair (86, or 76).
He could definitely have KQ/KJ here, which he's probably not folding.

Sorry- I mean his call on turn means he has a King here a lot. If he is on a draw you have some equity with your 6.

I like bigger bets on the flop and turn given the board texture and your stack sizes. As played I check behind river b/c a) I don't expect flush draws to play passively oop in 3bet pots, b) you beat every flush draw except Ac6c and c) I wouldn't count on him calling 2 streets with his worst made hands here (JJ,T9) only to fold on a harmless river in a bvb situation.

He jams the large majority of his flush draws on the flop so I wouldn't expect him to have a ton of those and he probably doesn't float a gutter 2 streets so that narrows his range to a pair or a slow played set. You're repping like 4 hands so pretty prime board for a hero call imo.

What's the worst hand you would value bet here?

KQ- but I play NL 100 which is more straightforward.
He called the turn- nothing changed on river.
Besides- With your tight image you could probably do a better job at representing AK, KQ, QQ, JJ, TT by betting stronger on turn.
Your big bet on river screams plz fold.

just check river. He can hero call you with something worse thank KQ easily. He still has strong hands in his range too.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
He folded to the shove, but I didn't want to be results oriented and think that my line was good when it wasn't.

I would raise more pre but I like your flop and turn betsizes. The river is a very bad card to 3-barrel imo since a 27/22 is usually playing draws bvb more agressively than c/c c/c. Maybe you get him to fold 910 of spades or something though.

if all draws missed and we have a pair that seems like it would be a good time to check to me...

True.
At the time though, I convinced myself my 6 was never good here because I put him on a mid-pair/TPGK type hand.

Not putting him on a draw and then bluffing because all draws missed seems kinda bad.

Only problem is im guessing he would raise a big straight/flush pair/flush combo draw on previous streets, and with all draws missing he is never folding top pair here and might snap off with a 1010 type hand.
