uhh haven't played online cash for months (maybe over a year), so I'm rusty.

Second hand at the table I believe, so no reads. Don't ask why I don't have a full stack :P Is it better to bet or check this flop?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($89.05)
Hero (BB) ($42.05)
UTG ($82.15)
Button ($46.15)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, J
2 folds, SB raises to $2, Hero raises to $7, SB calls $5

Flop: ($14) Q, A, A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ...?

I would check, and my plan is to call any reasonaly bet on only 1 future street. I bet river when checked too.

I'm not sure if that's the best line.

Definitely check the flop. No value in betting it and your hand's too good to turn into a bluff.

I'm not even sure you need to call on any street to keep this guy honest. Villain is OOP, flop smacks him & you in the face & is good for a slow play by either player(not that I would ever do that, but std. 50NL villain prob. would). Finally the villain either has nutso or has showdown value and would like to see a free showdown as much as you.
I might call a decent sized bet on riv if he chks 2 streets OOP and board is still relatively clean.

I would just CID - check it down.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I check here (and also check with AQ,QQ, possibly AK) and call a reasonable turn and fold river.

If he lets it check down I probably won't even bet a river, just check it down. I'd rather take the info of what he's calling with OOP than the super small chance he has worse and he actually calls on river.
