question though...did u fold the kings because u thought u were beat or just to give him the impression ur tight on the river and are capable of being bluffed?

That was basically a "credit" play. I didn't know him, so I gave him credit for having the trips and let it go. But I filed it away in the back of my mind as a possibility that he might try pulling the same thing again with no cards, since he knew I would make that laydown.
