villain had a short stack, doubled up 99 > AQ through me
I haven't seen him do anything retarded, but I assumed he was a fish because he was 32/19 with 0% 3b over 76 hands
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (4 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Button ($135.10)
Hero (SB) ($204)
BB ($460.40)
UTG ($200)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 8 , 5
1 fold, UTG checks, Button calls $1, Hero checks
Flop: ($6) 5 , J , 8 (3 players)
Button checks, Hero bets $5, UTG calls $5, Button raises to $16, Hero raises to $40, 1 fold, Button raises to $133.10 (All-In), Hero calls $93.10
Should I stacking off here always or just flat his raise and proceed cautiously?

When he raises you should fold flop.
raising him again is probably the worst option.

I'm not understanding the action in this hand. Convertor error? What are everyone's actual positions?

I'm torn on this hand, cause we block a lot of 555/888 combos. I doubt he limps JJ on the button and I also doubt he limps some weird J5. Only J8ss really makes some sense.
I'd prob call OOP and proceed cautiously. If there were more obvious draws that I could see getting it in I'd like a 3bet, but the board is so dry that a call OOP isn't too bad.

I'd peel a turn card and look at his turn bet.

if it's a fish im happier getting it in, as they could limp hands like AJ/QQ/KK/AA pre but a 32/19 i think is BTN opening these all day.
i would be happier with 2 pr including the top like J5/J8 here, it's tough for sure, your line looks extremely strong and its non-drawy so I just don't really see him shoving a hand like TJ or something here

How short would the stacks have to be before you guys would have no problems stacking off on the flop?
To me this seems like a no brainer to get it in as quickly as he is willing. As griffey pointed out, there aren't many better hands that make any sense, so to me it seems he's more likely to be overvaluing a worse hand (TP likely), or making a move.

by the way he was SB (converter error)
I would say that I'm confident this is 100% standard vs. regs 30BB deep (CAP NL tables)
but 60BB vs. fish? hmm...
