Villain is a solid TAG player. He bets smallish with TP. Nothing out of line yet.
I've been running so bad lately the river decision was really tough. Would he bet this without a T? Do you call this?

I couldn't see anything but JT or 9T here. I have been running so bad lately I felt like a blocking bet was throwing away money. Given my CR I figure he would check behind with anything other than a T.
I think a blocking bet is the play here. You are right IA, 2pr bets this. Specifically J8 as that is what he showed.
I folded. That is the perfect case of running bad causing you to make less than optimal decisions.
