Hey guys,

I'd appreciate a line check on this hand. River sucks, but I don't know if I can really fold here. Should I fold here?

-villain is 22/17/2 over 600 hands
-haven't had many memorable confrontations with villain
-villain waited a long time on the flop before calling, and something felt suspicious about that. Thought he could have flopped a flush, especially when he lead the turn into me
-I know people are going to say raise PF, and sometimes I raise these low pockets and sometimes I don't. Aside from that, how is the hand played? Does anyone raise this turn?

Agreed, he has the flush enough times to call here. I think he sometimes has complete air too, it does look a bit of a panic push.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I guess i've become used to seeing these big over-pushes being "traps", when they know the other person has a hand they have to call with.

Why would a villain push in this spot? Either he's pushing the flush, because he thinks I can't fold trip aces. Or he's pushing a boat, because he thinks I can't fold a flush.

I think this is rarely a bluff though. I think villain almost always has a flush or a boat here. Is my logic flawed?

What do people think about the turn play?

Do people find a raise here, or is a call the best play?

This is what I was thinking.

Doesn't a raise just fold out all the hands we are beating

Doesn't seem like it on the river but on the turn he could have Tdxx, TxKd/TxQd/AxTd. I'd raise the turn, not be happy to get pushed on but it's a call.

Thinking he has 33 is ludacris. Half decent players don't check this flop. He has alot more chance of AT than 33.

Think about it.. he begrudgingly calls with TP on the flop, then wakes up and leads out when he turns 2p, then grossly overshoves the pot when he boats up on the river.

He could have any ace and believe that your non-raise on the turn means you're weak or drawing.

Tough hand. 33 I think would be a fold here, but 66 is closer. I'd likely call here though.

You read goooooood

Villain shows AT.. and I vomit.

But can you fold to this river shove, jackvance? Is a call +EV in the long run, or will I most often be beat here?

raise the turn. And i probably find a fold here with such a small pot and the player has the stats of a good player.
