flop 3bet? I don't like it or it's size, certainly would like to hear opinions on that.

btw, the site i'm at is raise "by a amount" not "total".
so it would be the same as $32 at other sites.

wait, it would be $42 then wouldn't it. You raised him 28 more ontop of 14?

Wait, it says he called $19.75. I don't get it.

I don't like the flop 3bet either; I've got this guy at 12/6 over 50 hands, and from what I remember he was pretty passive. The turn card is goot, albeit I don't think he's really gonna fold after flop action..

Possibly call flop; b/f turn?

Btw, what did you think of rEraseMePlz? I remember him giving me a lot of hassle and being a bitch to play against, but maybe he was just picking up lots of hands.

Against a nit, how can we possibly be ahead and why push turn? I don't think that changed the hand.

I expect his range to be something like A10, 910, QJ, 67, 33, 99, 1010.

Do you have any reads on his blinds defence?
His flop raise looks strong, against tigh opponents I can fold this because we're OOP and we're about always have a tough turn.
Calling flop raise is ok I guess, but I still wouldn't know what to do on the turn?
c/c reasonable size? c/f? lead for half pot?

hmmmm actually we could be ahead I dunno but im not sure. I guess a push is not that bad since we only have a PSB left really. Kind of a sick spot, this is why I hate jacks

well, the say the least it's annoying to have a 30/25 on your left. i didn't really get into big hands with him.

That 67 should be 78, sorry.

I'm not a pokerstove guy, but I don't expect to be ahead against range?
Why are pushing, do you expect to get called by anything you beat?

against 99+,33,QJs,T9s,87s,QJo,T9o,87o
we are 40% on the turn.

against 99+,33,QJs,T9s,QJo,T9o (missing 87)
we are 23% on the turn.

i don't mean we have more equity than the guy, after the flop he pretty much only has a set or strong draw, maybe overpair. the turn gives up 8 more solid outs and increases our equity by a fair amount. so might as well push it and maybe get QQ+ to fold.

looking at it now, pushing is probably spew...

i guess what's more interesting for this hand is the flop....certainly we shouldn't give up so easily after the raise.

is calling and C/F the turn optimal?

Ilikeaces -
"Fold to a raise on the flop if you dont have a super read and you dont have at least Aces."

I don't always subscribe to this but against a nit its pretty +ev advice,
just because they don't really raise there draws and there's not alot of draws for him to raise. We're really only ahead of A10 (vs a nit)

Turn - no hand you 3bet on flop makes a straight on turn, only QQQ could scare him (unless he has it) but he probably wont fold alot. (ie. a set, maybe KK or AA but he probably 3 bets these pre.)

If he's aggressive and won't back up his stack with a lot of hands, I like this.

If he's tight, passive and willing to showdown goodish hands this is spew.

I don't think we can give up that easily in a blind battle with an overpair.

Do you think villain wouldn't be raising this flop with less than 2pr?

hi
i couldnt find the hand somehow, so i am not sure what i had. but i think after i only called ur 3 bet, i have you beat with at least buttom set. so i think pushing the turn is not a good play. i wont fold a set in this spot on ipoker and i am pretty sure that if i would have slowplayed AA or KK, i wouldnt fold either.
instead of 3betting the flop and pushing the turn, in ur spot i would have called my raise on the flop and b/f the turn.

could you now reveal what i had

Note to low stakes players: When posting a hand and saying he's a nit.... make sure for a guy who is 12/6, and I suspect doesn't raise AT in this spot, as a super nit.

i am obv. not a 12/6 ... who ever said that has probably less than 100 hands,

TT is a hand i usually raise vs. the SB, still there is a big chance that JJ is good against me in that spot ^^

Yeah, that was me (I'm R3sistance in case you've seen me around), I have 120 or so.

Is it me or is iPoker filling up with boring 2+2 TAGs?

If it wasn't for awesome rakeback I'd leave now.. I'm sure the games were 3x softer a few months ago..

yes they were, i play on ipoker for some years now and in the past month, things have changed a lot. i dont know about the ultralow limits, neither about the higher ones.
but it is much tougher nowadays in NL50 - NL400, still you can beat those limits i think.
things might change when noiq stops running the rake race.

its probably best to just change the site

Just to echo it: the flop 3bet was too small to do anything. Raising to $33 when he already has $14 in is almost a minraise. If you're 3betting here, tack another $10 on.
I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.
